The Denver-Boulder metro area is a hub for the quantum industry. The Boulder Chamber estimates that 54+ quantum companies operate in the region supporting 1,500 jobs. Careers in quantum computing are projected to grow by 16% over the next five years (2023-2028).

The Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Quantum Incubator (COQI) facility provides Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô with a one-of-a-kind resource: a hub that combines quantum-specific laboratory infrastructure, commercialization expertise, and access to advanced, quantum industry testbeds, all under one roof. By bridging the lab-to-market gap, COQI empowers discoveries to evolve into scalable businesses, strengthens workforce development, and accelerates the growth of a globally competitive quantum industry. This investment ensures Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô not only participates in but leads the next generation of technological innovation.

OEDIT Translational Quantum Research Seed Grants

In partnership with the Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Boulder facilitates proposals for translational quantum research seed grants. Seed grants are open to any Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô research institution and industry partners. The goals of the program are to incentivize innovations launched out of the lab and help them along the development path to new programs and businesses.Ìý
