2027 Commencement

The 2027 university commencement ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. MDT Saturday, May 1, at Folsom Field stadium and will last approximately 90 minutes. No tickets or registration required.Ìý
Recognition ceremonies hosted by our colleges, schools, departments and programs will occur following the commencement ceremony between May 1 and May 3. Recognition ceremonies dates are subject to change.
The celebrations begin at the university commencement ceremony, where the chancellor will officially confer degrees upon graduating students. During this traditional ceremony, the university will celebrate thousands of graduates as one and formally welcome you into the Forever Buff family.

The celebrations continue at the hosted by your specific college, school, department or program. Recognition ceremonies complement the commencement ceremony by allowing you to receive individual acknowledgment in a smaller, more intimate setting.
