Gilman Scholarships
- The enables American undergraduateÌýstudents who receive a Pell Grant to study or intern abroad through scholarships of up to $5,000.
- Students studying critical need languages are eligible for a supplemental award up to $3,000, and students conducting STEM research abroad are eligible for a supplemental award up to $1,000.Ìý
- The also supports child and spousal dependents of active or activated duty military members by providing awards of $5,000.
Submitting Your Gilman Application
Deadlines: Scholarships are awarded twice annually. Typically, the deadlines are in early October and early March. Plan ahead and talk to an advisor in our office for help!Ìý
- Research programs, mark your calendar with deadline dates and make a plan to apply.
- Attend a Gilman Scholarship Workshop for Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô students (see info below) and reach out to the Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Boulder Gilman Scholarship advisor at Adilene.GarciaAniles@colorado.edu if you have questions.
