The University of ĢӰ Connection
is a Boulder-based synthetic biology company with strong roots at ĢӰ Boulder. The company was spun out of 's lab (ĢӰ Boulder Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering and BioFrontiers Institute), where its foundational technology, leveraging microbial systems to discover small-molecule drugs for previously “undruggable” targets, was developed. Its lead programs, including inhibitors of PTP1B, emerged directly from this academic research.
