Next up in our student spotlights is Ceyna Dawson. Ceyna will join us this fall from Eagle, Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô. She is a recent alumna of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô College, where she graduated with a degree in political science and a minor in Journalism.Ìý

Meet the class of 2029’s Ceyna Dawson!ÌýÌý

What inspired you to pursue a law degree?ÌýÌý

CD: I want to pursue a law degree because I believe community and the legal profession are deeply interconnected. I am passionate about using my education to serve and provide support for underrepresented communities.ÌýÌý

What are your hobbies outside of work and school?ÌýÌý

CD: Outside of school I love to run, ski, and hike. I also try to engage in artistic hobbies like drawing and painting.ÌýÌý

Why did you choose Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô law?ÌýÌý

CD: I chose Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Law because I want to pursue my career in Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô. I feel connected to Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô, and the communities that I have already built here. I also appreciate the mentorship and support programs that actively guide students throughout their time in law school.ÌýÌý

What are you most looking forward to this upcoming academic year?ÌýÌý

CD: I am most looking forward to challenging myself academically. I look forward to being back in the classroom and learning as much as I can to equip myself as a future lawyer.ÌýÌý
