David Shneer,ÌýLouis P. Singer Endowed Chair in Jewish HistoryÌýand Professor of History, Religious Studies and Jewish Studies, was recently selected as a recipient of the by the University of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Boulder's . This award is given to faculty members who have demonstrated continued support of the Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô community through their service activities.
, Mortenson Professor of Sustainable Development in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering, states, "David has worked extensively to enhance the position of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô in the world of Jewish Studies. Through his work on the Holocaust and the acquisition of the Mazal Holocaust Collection, he has led the effort that now places Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô among the leading institutions in terms of Holocaust documents and collections.
