Disability Services is continuing the transition to AIM, our student-facing accommodation management system. As we complete this transition, you may notice updates to our website and processes. Thank you for your patience during this period.
Please use AIM for your accommodation-related needs. If you have questions or need assistance during this transition, please contact your Access Coordinator or the Disability Services front office at dsinfo@colorado.eduÌý(303-492-8671). Please do not attempt to log in to the previous accommodation management system, Accommodate Portal.
With AIM, students can:
- Manage accommodation letters
- Submit accommodation requests
- Request appointments with their Access Coordinator after completing the registration process
- Access accommodation-related services and resources
Access+: An Inclusive Lounge Space for Students with Disabilities
Disability Services at the University of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Boulder provides an inclusive and supportive environment for students with disabilities. By transforming a section of our office into a vibrant hub, Access+ fosters community, promotes social interaction and offers diverse programming and academic support to enhance students' overall university experience.ÌýÌý
Our vision is to create a universally designed campus where students with disabilities feel empowered, connected and supported. We aim to be a model of inclusivity and accessibility, offering a flexible and welcoming space for relaxation, study and socialization. Through collaborative programming and innovative resources, Access+ enriches the academic and social lives of students, fostering a sense of belonging and achievement.Ìý

- Adjustable, comfortable and flexible seating arrangements for relaxation and/or individual/collaborative study sessions.
- Sensory-friendly lighting and equipment to create a calming and supportive environment.
- Stress reduction activities and items, such as fidget toys and slime kits.
- Study tools, such as timers and reading strips/bookmarks, to help with concentration and productivity.
- Chargers for Apple and Android phones and devices.

Presentations and workshops
Learn about a variety of topics, like the process of registering for accommodations, effective communication about disabilities and strategies for developing and refining academic and personal skills.ÌýCheck out this semester's workshops.
Community-building events and activities
Engage in self-care activities, connect with others and build a sense of belonging.Ìý
- : Attend a themed movie screening with refreshments, snacks and an afternoon of relaxation.
- : Attend various themed events, such as bingo, disability trivia and inclusive arts and crafts.
- : Participate in a creative or reflective activity and meet one-on-one with an emotional wellness peer educator to craft a personalized self-care plan.
Academic support resources
Get help with assignments, studying, research and communication.
- Josephine Jones Speaking Lab: Receive personalized coaching to strengthen public speaking and presentation skills.
- Writing Center: Work with a consultant to improve any stage of your writing process, from brainstorming to final edits.
