The University of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Student Government, or Ä¢¹½Ó°ÒôSG for short, is the official governing and representative body of the 38,800 students at Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Boulder. As the most autonomous student government in the nation, Ä¢¹½Ó°ÒôSG is responsible for allocating over $34Ìýmillion in student fees to improve the lives of all Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô students.

The primary objective of Ä¢¹½Ó°ÒôSG is to serve students wherever possible. Ä¢¹½Ó°ÒôSG seeks to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Boulder students by

  • Funding student organizations and clubs
  • Passing legislation to better the lives of students
  • Representing the student voice on joint boards
  • Overseeing facilities

Ä¢¹½Ó°ÒôSG is part of the University of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô's system of shared governance, where leaders from Boulder Faculty Assembly, Staff Council, and the Graduate and Professional Student Government provide input to the strategic priorities of the Chancellor.
