Parisa Tashakori is a visual designer, art director, curator, and educator whose work bridges branding, visual communication, exhibitions, and socially engaged design. For more than two decades, she has collaborated with international advertising agencies, cultural institutions, universities, and public organizations, to build a practice rooted in social and cultural engagement, using design as a catalyst for equity, meaningful connection, and positive social change. She has developed work for organizations including UNICEF, Vogue, Unilever, the City of Boulder, the Boulder Public Library, and the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, as well as numerous other international brands and cultural institutions.

Her work has been exhibited internationally and recognized with international design awards, most recently the 2026 Artivist Award presented during Boulder Arts Week.

Tashakori also has served as a juror for most notable design competitions in Germany, Taiwan, France, Peru, Finland, Bolivia, Mexico, and beyond. In Tehran, she served on the board of the Iranian Graphic Designers Society and directed its exhibition program from 2012 to 2015 before relocating to the United States in 2017.

At the University of Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Boulder, she is Co-Director of the Master's in Strategic Communication Design at Ä¢¹½Ó°Òô Brand Studios and leads the Experience Design track within the program where she mentors emerging designers in developing thoughtful, human-centered, and socially engaged design practices.
