Commencement Reflections

The kind of impact I hope to make early in my career is connecting my work to what I am passionate about, even if it starts small.

Looking back, I didn't expect that accepting uncertainty would become one of my strengths.

A turning point for me in college happened when I started working for the school, which allowed me to build meaningful relationships with the staff and faculty, and it changed my perspective.

College opened my eyes to how the people I surround myself with can make or break an experience, and now it's something I aim to prioritize in my life.

One aspect of the Leeds experience that made a real difference for me was connecting with my professors—it gave me valuable relationships, and it enriched my perspective beyond the classroom.
