Commencement Reflections
Because of the connections I've made, I'm especially excited about the direction of my career.
A moment during college that really stayed with me was when I completed my final project for BASE, because I felt much more prepared to tackle real-world problems.
If future me sent a postcard from five years ahead, it would probably say: I'm busy trying new things and meeting new people.
A Post-It note with my next top three goals:
- Make an impact on the world.
- Try as many new things as possible.
- Prioritize important people in my life.
One aspect of the Leeds experience that made a real difference for me was the programs/clubs/mentorship offered throughout your degree, because it connects you with so many people and opportunities that you never would have come across.Ìý
ÌýOne thing I learned about myself during college is that any avenue is open to you if you just ask, and it continues to shape how I show up in the world.ÌýÌý
